Who Is amanda ybanez?

Amanda grew up in Kalihi, and has always given back to her community. She makes sure to meet and speak to everyone in the room. she is hard working, honest, and puts the community first, which is why she created her podcast - a Community-Based and Informational podcast for our Honolulu community.

Amanda was the chair of the #15 Kalihi-Palama Neighborhood Board, and has used her position to create jam-packed agendas and recognize people for their sacrifice and hard work in our community. In her free time, she also joins union strikes. She will walk the picket line to support workers, and also walk in her neighborhood to say Hi! and talk to neighbors.

What Amanda does is not just because of her position, or what her extensive training taught her to do. It is a lifestyle. It is who she is. She also decided it was time to help her community through the Hawaii State Legislature by running for State House of Representatives -District 28: Sand Island, Iwilei, and Chinatown.
